Why Choose Genuine Maserati 246927?
Genuine Maserati Multimedia Component
246927 is an original Maserati component designed for the applicable factory multimedia connection system. Using the correct socket helps maintain the original fit, electrical connection and appearance of the vehicle's interior.
USB and AUX-IN Connection
This component combines the applicable USB input and AUX-IN input into the factory connection socket. It allows compatible external devices to interface with the vehicle's applicable multimedia system.
Maserati Quattroporte M139 Application
The strongest documented application for 246927 is the Maserati Quattroporte M139. Maserati parts catalogues show the component within the Reception and Connection System on applicable MY2009-on configurations. Documented versions include selected Quattroporte, Quattroporte S, Quattroporte Sport GT S / GTS and Quattroporte Awards Edition, depending on model year, market and equipment.
Production Fitment
Maserati catalogue information specifies Valid from Assembly No. 42093. A Quattroporte M139 built before this assembly-number change may use a different multimedia connection arrangement. Therefore, model name alone should not be used to determine compatibility.
Market Specification
Maserati specifically documents 246927 for Australia, Europe and United Kingdom applications. Maserati separately lists 246928 as the USB/AUX-IN Socket (MY2009) for applicable USA-market vehicles. These references should not automatically be treated as interchangeable.
USB/AUX Connection Cable
The socket itself is only one component of the complete multimedia connection system. Maserati separately catalogues 248647 as the USB/AUX-IN Socket Connection Cable. Do not state that the connection cable is included unless it is physically supplied with the EAT product.
Related iPod Connection Cable
Maserati also separately catalogues 251221 as an iPod Connection Cable within applicable reception and connection systems. This cable is not automatically included with 246927.
Socket – Not Complete Infotainment System
246927 should not be confused with the complete radio, navigation unit, infotainment head unit, NIT system, amplifier or USB/AUX wiring harness. It is specifically the USB/AUX-IN Socket used as part of the applicable factory multimedia system.
If USB or AUX Is Not Working
A non-functioning USB or AUX connection does not automatically mean the socket itself has failed. The system should also be checked for a damaged connection cable, loose electrical connector, wiring faults, infotainment-system faults, software compatibility, damaged external cable, device compatibility and physical damage to the socket. Proper diagnosis is recommended before replacing components.
