Why Choose Genuine Porsche Cabin Filter 99657221902?
Genuine Porsche Filtration Component
99657221902 is an original Porsche cabin filtration component designed for the applicable 986 and 996 ventilation system, providing the correct factory-style dimensions and installation arrangement for compatible vehicles.
Filters Incoming Cabin Air
The filter is positioned in the vehicle's ventilation air path and helps capture dust, pollen, sand, road debris and other airborne particles before they pass through the HVAC system into the passenger compartment.
Porsche 986 and 996 Application
Strong documented applications include Porsche Boxster 986 and Porsche 911 996, including selected Carrera, Turbo, GT2 and GT3 applications.
Particularly Important in Dusty Conditions
In dusty and sandy environments, a cabin filter may collect contamination more quickly. Regular inspection can help identify when replacement is required and support proper airflow through the heating and air-conditioning system.
Cabin Filter – Not Engine Air Filter
Despite the term “particle filter,” 99657221902 is not an engine intake filter. It is installed in the Cabin Ventilation / HVAC System.
Standard Particle Filter vs Activated Carbon Filter
Porsche PET distinguishes two filter configurations. 99657221902 is the standard particle-filter configuration associated with -M571. 99657121903 is a separate filter reference associated with M571, which relates to the activated-carbon filter arrangement. These references should not be treated as identical without checking vehicle equipment.
Need Help Finding the Right Porsche Cabin Filter?
Porsche cabin filters can vary according to vehicle model, model year, HVAC specification, activated-carbon filter option, M571 equipment, existing filter reference and VIN. Provide the complete 17-digit Porsche VIN to European Auto Spares for exact compatibility verification.
