Why Choose Genuine Porsche 99711111970?
Genuine Porsche Exhaust Component
99711111970 is an original Porsche component designed for the applicable factory exhaust mounting system. The retaining strap helps hold the muffler securely within its intended mounting position while working with the corresponding support bracket and fastening hardware.
Correct Product Identification
Porsche parts data identifies this component as a Strap or Restraining Strap. It is not the complete exhaust support bracket. The separate related support 99611102471 is catalogued as the exhaust muffler support bracket.
Porsche 911 997 Applications
99711111970 is strongly documented within the exhaust systems of selected Porsche 911 997 models, particularly the 997 Turbo, 997 GT2 and 997 GT3. Exact fitment should be checked according to VIN and factory exhaust specification.
Two Straps Per Applicable Vehicle
For applicable Porsche 997 Turbo and GT3 installations, specialist Porsche parts data specifies two straps per vehicle. This listing remains 1 x strap unless the physical EAT package is specifically sold as a pair.
Mechanical Exhaust Support
The retaining strap helps secure and support the muffler, maintain correct exhaust positioning, control unwanted movement and maintain clearance around surrounding components. It is a mechanical exhaust support component rather than an exhaust sealing component or conventional exhaust pipe joint clamp.
Related Components
The related muffler support bracket 99611102471 and mounting screw 90006736201 are separately catalogued and should not be advertised as included unless physically supplied with this product.
