xPorsche AC Compressor 97012601106 - Quality Aftermarket Replacement
A failing AC compressor turns every Dubai drive into an endurance test. This quality aftermarket replacement for the Porsche 97012601106 restores ice-cold cabin cooling by pressurising refrigerant exactly as the original unit did, built to OE specification for a direct, bolt-on fit. No modifications, no guesswork: confirm by part number or VIN, and your Porsche's climate system is back to factory-level performance at a fraction of dealer cost.
How the Porsche 97012601106 AC Compressor Works
The AC compressor is the heart of your Porsche's air conditioning system. Driven by the engine, it pressurises refrigerant gas and circulates it through the condenser, expansion valve, and evaporator in a continuous loop. As the refrigerant changes state from gas to liquid and back, it absorbs heat from the cabin air and releases it outside. When the compressor wears out, the whole cycle stalls: pressures drop, cooling fades, and the system can no longer overcome the UAE heat. This aftermarket unit is engineered to OE specification, so it restores the correct pressures and flow rates the system was designed around.
Signs Your AC Compressor Is Failing
Watch for warm or inconsistent air from the vents, especially at idle, a clicking or grinding noise when the AC is switched on, and the compressor clutch failing to engage. Visible refrigerant leaks, oily residue around the compressor body, or the system repeatedly losing its charge all point to compressor failure. In the UAE, a weak compressor often shows up first in summer traffic, when heat load is highest. Because low refrigerant mimics some of these symptoms, always have the system pressure-tested and leak-checked by a technician before replacing the compressor.
Why Choose a Quality Aftermarket AC Compressor
A quality aftermarket compressor built to OE specification gives you the same fitment, mounting points, and performance envelope as the original unit, without the dealer price tag. For a Porsche outside its factory warranty, this is the rational choice: the part matches OE part number 97012601106, bolts straight onto the existing brackets and lines, and works with the factory refrigerant charge. Unlike cheap unbranded units with unknown tolerances, a properly specified aftermarket compressor restores reliable cooling you can trust through the hottest months of the year.
Installation Notes for Technicians
AC compressor replacement is a job for a qualified technician with proper recovery equipment. The system must be evacuated before the old unit is removed, and the receiver-drier should be replaced at the same time to protect the new compressor from moisture and debris. Flush the lines if the old compressor failed internally, add the correct oil charge, then evacuate and recharge the system to specification. After fitting, confirm correct clutch engagement and check operating pressures before handing the car back.

Technician's Advisory: Whenever an air conditioning compressor is replaced, the receiver/dryer should be renewed and the system flushed and recharged with certified equipment — debris from a failed compressor will destroy a new unit within weeks. Compare the pulley groove count and electrical connector of the new compressor against the old unit before fitting.
Important: This part is listed by OE part number 97012601106 (replaces 970-126-011-03). Exact compatibility depends on the model, variant, production date and equipment level. Send your complete VIN to the European Autospares parts team and we will verify this is the correct part for your vehicle.

xFrequently Asked Questions
It pressurises refrigerant and circulates it through the condenser and evaporator so cabin air cools. A failed compressor means warm air regardless of settings. This quality aftermarket replacement is built to OE specification for Porsche vehicles listing part number 97012601106. It restores factory-level cooling without the dealer price tag.
The classic signs are warm air from the vents, a clicking or grinding noise when the AC runs, the compressor clutch failing to engage, and visible refrigerant leaks or oily residue around the compressor. Cooling that fades at idle but returns at speed also points to a weak compressor. Have the system pressure-tested before replacing.
Fitment is confirmed by OE part number: this compressor suits Porsche vehicles that specify 97012601106. Because AC systems vary by model year and engine, we verify your VIN before dispatch. Send us the full VIN and we will confirm this is the correct compressor for your car, so you never order the wrong part.
This is a quality aftermarket compressor built to the original OE specification, not a genuine Porsche part. It matches the OE fitment and function at a lower price, which makes it a practical choice for older vehicles. If your car is under factory warranty, a genuine part may be required; for everything else, this is the cost-effective fix.
You are covered by UAE consumer protection law, which gives you the right to a replacement or refund if the part arrives faulty or not as described. European Auto Spares also checks your VIN before dispatch to prevent wrong-part orders. Inspect the compressor on arrival and contact us immediately about any damage, so the claim is resolved quickly.
