Genuine Porsche Engine Air Filter Cartridge 94411018602

Genuine Porsche Engine Air Filter Cartridge 94411018602 - OEM Intake Filtration Protection

A clean air supply is the simplest protection your engine has. The genuine Porsche engine air filter cartridge 94411018602 restores factory-level OEM intake filtration, keeping abrasive UAE dust and road debris out of your cylinders. It is the OE replacement element for the Porsche 944 airbox — a straightforward service part that protects compression, fuel efficiency, and long-term engine health. Supplied new in factory packaging, it fits exactly as Porsche engineered it to.

How the Engine Air Filter Cartridge Works

Your engine consumes thousands of litres of air for every litre of fuel it burns. The 94411018602 cartridge sits inside the airbox and forces all that incoming air through pleated filter media, trapping dust, sand, insects, and road debris before they can reach the throttle body and cylinders. The pleated design packs a large filtration surface into a compact cartridge, so airflow stays strong while particles stay out. A properly seated cartridge also seals the airbox, so no air can sneak around the element unfiltered.

Signs Your Engine Air Filter Needs Replacing

This part degrades silently, so most drivers only notice the effects. Watch for sluggish throttle response, reduced acceleration, higher-than-usual fuel consumption, or a rough, uneven idle. In extreme cases a starved engine can trigger a check-engine light or produce darker exhaust smoke. The most direct check is visual: open the airbox and look at the pleats. If the media is dark, clogged with dust, or distorted, the cartridge has done its job and needs replacing. In the UAE, fine desert dust loads filters faster than in milder climates, so inspection at every service is good practice.

Why Genuine OEM Filtration Matters

An air filter is only as good as its fit. The genuine Porsche 94411018602 cartridge is built to the original equipment specification for the airbox it serves: the pleat geometry, overall shape, and sealing edge all match the housing exactly. That precise fit matters because even a small gap around the element lets unfiltered air bypass the media — and bypassed dust is what wears cylinder walls and contaminates oil. Generic cartridges can look close but seal poorly or use media that restricts airflow, costing you power or protection. The genuine part removes the guesswork.

Installation and Service Notes

Replacing an engine air filter cartridge is one of the simplest service jobs on a Porsche. A technician — or a confident DIY owner — opens the airbox, lifts out the old cartridge, wipes the housing clean, and seats the new 94411018602 element fully in its channel before closing the box and refastening the clips. The job needs no special tools beyond basic hand tools. Never run the engine with the airbox open or the cartridge missing, and always check that the airbox seals and intake hoses are intact when the new element goes in.

Why Choose European Auto Spares

Keeps Abrasive Dust Out of Your Cylinders

This cartridge stops the fine particulate that UAE roads and desert winds put in the air. By trapping dust before the intake, it protects piston rings, cylinder walls, and valves from abrasive wear — the kind of slow damage that shortens engine life long before you feel it.

Factory-Sealed Fit — No Bypass

The genuine element seats exactly in the airbox channel with an OE-profile seal. No gaps, no unfiltered shortcuts for dust. An ill-fitting generic can look fitted while leaking air around its edges; the genuine cartridge eliminates that risk.

Matched to Your Engine's Airflow Needs

Porsche validated the media and pleat layout for the engine's real airflow demand. You get strong, unrestricted breathing at full throttle and reliable filtration at idle — a balance cheap media rarely achieves, where filters either choke the engine or let too much through.

A Simple Service With Genuine Quality

Air filters are routine maintenance, but they are not a place to compromise. At this price point, fitting the genuine part costs little more than a generic while keeping the intake system exactly as the factory specified it.

Supplied New With OE Traceability

Every cartridge arrives new in genuine Porsche packaging with the 94411018602 OE number, so you and your technician know exactly what is going into the airbox.
