xProduct Overview
The Genuine Porsche Engine Drive Belt 99610215168EQ is the original poly-rib accessory belt for the flat-six Porsche models listed below. It is a 6PK2115 ribbed belt, six ribs and 2115 mm long, and it is the version for cars WITH air conditioning, running the single belt drive that powers the engine ancillaries, including the alternator and the air conditioning compressor. A worn belt squeals, slips and can strand the car if it fails, so Porsche treats it as a scheduled service replacement, not a fit-and-forget part.
The full OE number on this listing is 99610215168EQ. Specialist listings, including FVD Brombacher, show 99610215168EQ as a separate ordering reference alongside the base number 99610215168 for the same ribbed V-belt 6 PK 2115 (with AC), but the sources consulted do not define the EQ suffix itself. This page is therefore written to the verified belt identity, the 6PK2115 with-air-conditioning belt, and we ask you to confirm the full number against your VIN before ordering.
Part Numbers & Reference Codes
OE part number: 99610215168EQ. Base number: 99610215168, also written 996 102 151 68. Belt size: 6PK2115 (6 ribs, 2115 mm). Design911 lists 99610215164 and 99610215166 as related reference numbers for comparison. Note carefully: cars WITHOUT air conditioning use a shorter belt of a different part number, so never substitute by length alone. Always order and verify by the full OE number.
Vehicle Compatibility & Fitment
This belt fits Porsche 911 Carrera (996), Boxster (986 and 987), Cayman (987C) and 911 Carrera (997) models with air conditioning, within the year and engine ranges in the fitment tab below. It is a single belt drive application. Belt routing and ancillary layout vary by engine code, so confirm fitment with your VIN before ordering and our parts team will verify the belt against the factory catalogue for your exact car.
Key Features & Benefits
- Correct 6PK2115 size: six-rib profile and 2115 mm length to the OE specification, so tension and routing are exactly as Porsche designed.
- For cars with air conditioning: the longer with-AC belt for the single belt drive, not the shorter no-AC variant.
- Quiet, slip-free drive: a fresh genuine belt restores clean drive to the alternator and A/C compressor, ending squeal and slip.
- OE rib profile: the factory rib form seats correctly in every pulley groove, protecting the tensioner and idlers from abnormal wear.
- Genuine Porsche part: original belt construction and compound for the service life Porsche specifies.

Installation Position & Fitment Notes
The belt runs on the front of the flat-six engine, driving the ancillaries from the crankshaft pulley. Sketch or photograph the routing before removal, release the tensioner correctly, and check every pulley for play, noise and misalignment while the belt is off. A new belt fitted over a failing tensioner or idler will not last. After fitting, confirm the ribs sit centred in every groove and run the engine to check for squeal before refitting covers.

Cars without air conditioning use a shorter belt of a different part number, so never substitute by length alone. Record the belt routing before removal, and inspect the tensioner and every idler pulley while the belt is off, renewing any pulley with play or roughness.

xFrequently Asked Questions
Yes. This listing is the genuine Porsche poly-rib drive belt in size 6PK2115 for cars with air conditioning, ordered under the full OE number 99610215168EQ. The base number is 99610215168. Specialist listings show the EQ number alongside the base number for the same belt, so always match the full number and your VIN when ordering.
Honestly, the sources we consulted do not define it. FVD Brombacher lists 99610215168EQ as a separate ordering reference for the same ribbed V-belt 6 PK 2115 (with AC) as the base number 99610215168, at a different price point. We have written this page to that verified belt identity and recommend VIN confirmation before ordering.
The 6PK2115 with-air-conditioning belt fits the 911 Carrera 996, Boxster 986 and 987, Cayman 987C and 911 Carrera 997 within the year and engine ranges in the fitment tab on this page. It is a single belt drive application. Cars without air conditioning use a different, shorter belt, so confirm by VIN before ordering.
Look for squealing on start-up or with the air conditioning on, visible cracking, fraying or glazing on the ribs, and rib material missing in chunks. Belts also harden with age and heat in the UAE climate. If the belt fails completely the alternator and air conditioning stop, so replace it on condition and on schedule, not after it breaks.
This brand-new genuine part is covered against manufacturing defects, and your statutory consumer rights apply in the UAE. If the part arrives damaged or is incorrect due to our error, we will replace or refund it. We recommend VIN verification before ordering, so contact us with your VIN if you are unsure about fitment.
