xGenuine Porsche Engine Intake Manifold Assembly 99711017101
The Genuine Porsche Engine Intake Manifold Assembly 99711017101 is the original-equipment air distribution unit that channels filtered intake air evenly to each cylinder of your Porsche engine. Precision-moulded to Porsche's OE specification, it maintains correct runner geometry and airtight sealing so the engine breathes exactly as designed — protecting idle quality, throttle response, and power delivery.
What the Intake Manifold Does
After the throttle body, the intake manifold splits incoming airflow into equal paths for each cylinder. Even distribution is critical: any imbalance or leak changes the air-fuel mixture per cylinder, which the engine management then has to correct. The 99711017101 assembly is engineered to factory tolerances for a leak-free, turbulence-controlled intake tract.
Why Genuine Precision Matters
Intake sealing surfaces, vacuum ports, and mounting points must align perfectly. Genuine Porsche manifolds are produced to the exact OE tooling, so gaskets seat correctly, vacuum lines connect without strain, and there are no stress points that cause warping under heat cycling. Pattern parts with slightly off tolerances are a common cause of recurring vacuum leaks and uneven running after replacement.
Signs of Intake Manifold Trouble
A cracked or leaking manifold typically shows as a rough or hunting idle, loss of low-end power, hissing from the engine bay, a check engine light with lean-mixture codes, or poor fuel economy. Because symptoms overlap with other intake faults, have a Porsche specialist confirm the diagnosis before ordering — and replace the manifold gaskets at the same time.
Fitment Guidance
Intake manifold applications vary by Porsche model, engine, and model year. Share your 17-digit VIN with our parts team before ordering and we will verify the 99711017101 against your exact vehicle. Correct fitment matters here: even small differences in port layout between engine variants make VIN verification essential.

Häufig gestellte Fragen
xWhat are the symptoms of a leaking intake manifold?
Typical signs are a rough or hunting idle, hissing from the engine bay, loss of low-end power, a check engine light with lean-mixture fault codes, and worse fuel economy. Because vacuum leaks elsewhere cause similar symptoms, a smoke test by a Porsche specialist is the reliable way to confirm the manifold itself is the culprit.
Should I replace the gaskets when fitting a new manifold?
Yes, always. Manifold gaskets compress and take a set over time, and reusing old ones is the most common cause of a leak immediately after replacement. Fitting fresh genuine gaskets with the 99711017101 assembly costs little and protects the labour invested in the job.
Is the 99711017101 a genuine Porsche part?
Yes. This is a genuine Porsche OE part produced to the exact factory tooling and specification. Genuine manifolds match the original runner geometry, sealing surfaces, and vacuum port layout precisely, which is what keeps the engine running as Porsche intended.
How do I confirm this manifold fits my Porsche?
Share your 17-digit VIN with our parts team before ordering and we will verify the 99711017101 against your exact model, engine, and model year. Intake manifolds differ between engine variants, so VIN verification is the safe way to order the correct assembly first time.
