Fitment Details
xFerrari Engine Sealing Ring 101023 Fitment
| Application Area | Application |
|---|---|
| Ferrari — engine assemblies | Sealing ring gasket for leak-proof mating of engine joint faces |
| Ferrari — fluid and gas joints | Compression seal for oil, coolant, and gas joint interfaces |
| Ferrari — service and rebuild work | Replacement for rings with compression set or heat hardening |
Technician's Advisory: Sealing rings are specified per joint — bore diameter, cross-section, and material must match the original. Always confirm the exact application with your VIN before ordering — our team verifies compatibility before dispatch. Clean and inspect both mating faces before fitting; seat the new genuine ring squarely without stretching or twisting, and torque the joint to specification in the correct sequence.
FAQs
xFrequently Asked Questions
The 101023 is a genuine Ferrari engine sealing ring gasket. It sits between two mating surfaces and compresses to form a seal, keeping fluids and gases where they belong. Sealing rings handle heat cycling and pressure changes. Using the genuine ring ensures the profile and compression behaviour match the joint design, so the seal holds for the service interval.
Look for seepage or drips at the joint, unexplained drops in oil or coolant level, staining around the mating faces, or a burning-oil smell as leaked fluid reaches hot surfaces. Any active leak means the ring has taken a compression set — renew the seal rather than just topping up.
The 101023 is a Ferrari OE sealing ring, but sealing rings are specified per joint — bore diameter, cross-section, and material must match the original. Confirm with your VIN before ordering. Send us the full VIN and tell us which joint or assembly you are sealing, and our team will verify the 101023 is the correct ring for your Ferrari.
A generic ring may look the same but differ in cross-section tolerance, material compound, and compression set resistance. An incorrect compound hardens with heat and stops sealing; a wrong cross-section either will not compress enough or extrudes under pressure. The genuine Ferrari 101023 matches the original profile and material, so the joint seals correctly and stays sealed through heat cycles.
This is a new genuine Ferrari part supplied in packaging, covered against manufacturing defects under the standard genuine parts warranty. Your consumer rights apply in the UAE. If the part arrives damaged or incorrect due to our error, we will replace or refund it. Because sealing rings are joint-specific, we verify your VIN before dispatch to prevent a wrong order.
