Technician's Advisory: Check the receiving thread for damage or corrosion before fitting, fit the stud to the correct side and depth for its diagram position, and tighten the mating component to the Maserati torque specified for that joint. Never substitute a different thread, length or grade.
Important: This genuine Maserati part is listed by OE part number 300452. Exact compatibility depends on the model, variant, production date and equipment level, and no single model application is published for this standard fastener. Send your complete VIN to the European Autospares parts team and we will verify this is the correct part for your vehicle.
FAQs
xFrequently Asked Questions
Yes. The 300452 is a genuine Maserati OE threaded stud, the original fastener supplied under this Maserati part number. It is not a generic hardware substitute. Buying genuine means the thread form, stud lengths and specification match what Maserati designed for the joint, so the component it secures clamps correctly and safely.
Catalogue listings record part 300452 as a stud with the designation M6X45(M)-M6X10(M), H=4, which describes a double-ended M6 threaded stud form. Because fastener dimensions decide whether a joint assembles correctly, please still confirm the application and diagram position with our parts team using your VIN before ordering this stud for your car.
No single model application is published for this standard fastener in the sources we could verify, and Maserati studs can serve more than one assembly. Send your complete VIN, and the component the stud secures if you know it, to our parts team and we will verify the 300452 against the factory catalogue.
Studs suffer thread damage, corrosion and stretching in service, and a weakened fastener can fail to hold its specified clamp load or can snap during reassembly. Renewing with the genuine 300452 during a repair is inexpensive insurance, restores the factory thread engagement, and avoids the labour cost of extracting a broken reused stud later.
This is a brand-new genuine Maserati part, supplied exactly as the factory produces it, with clean unused threads and its original specification intact. A new stud seats and torques correctly from the first fitting, which a used, corroded or previously over-tightened fastener cannot be relied on to do at an important joint.
