Technician's Advisory: This rivet secures wheel arch liners, air ducts and underbody panels. Replace all disturbed fasteners at the same time, check the liner sits flush with no sagging edge, and inspect the mounting holes for elongation before fitting new rivets.
Important: This genuine Porsche part is listed by OE part number 99950749740. Exact compatibility depends on the model, variant, production date and equipment level. Send your complete VIN to the European Autospares parts team and we will verify this is the correct part for your vehicle.
FAQs
xFrequently Asked Questions
Yes. The 99950749740 is a genuine Porsche OE expanding rivet, made to Porsche factory specification for wheel arch, air duct and underbody trim. It is not an aftermarket copy. Buying genuine means the correct expansion profile and factory material, so the rivet seats firmly, holds trim in place and resists loosening from road vibration and heat.
Catalogue listings place this expanding rivet on the Porsche Panamera (2010 - 2016), 911 generations 996, 997 and 991, Boxster 986 and 987, and Cayman 987C, for wheel arch, air duct and underbody locations. Exact use varies by model and production split, so confirm your car with your VIN before ordering.
Push the rivet through the aligned trim and body holes, then press the centre pin fully home so the body expands and locks behind the panel. Check the trim sits flush with no movement. Replace any rivet that is cracked, loose or has a damaged pin, and never reuse a rivet that no longer expands firmly.
This is a brand-new genuine Porsche part, supplied exactly as the factory produces it. It arrives unused, with its expansion body and centre pin intact, ready to fit. Because it is new OE stock, it expands and locks as designed, which a removed or reused rivet cannot reliably do.
This brand-new genuine part is covered against manufacturing defects, and your statutory consumer rights apply in the UAE. If the part arrives damaged or is incorrect due to our error, we will replace or refund it. Confirm fitment with your VIN before ordering if you are unsure.
