No. It is a Manthey Racing performance part, made by Manthey for Porsche GT models, and it is described as Manthey performance throughout this page. Manthey works closely with Porsche on GT performance kits, but this pad is a Manthey part number, not a Porsche original equipment part.
It fits the rear axle of the 911 GT3, GT3 RS and GT2 RS (991 and 992 generations) and the 718 Cayman GT4 and GT4 RS with steel brakes, as listed in the fitment table. It is not for PCCB ceramic brake cars, which use the separate 99104480637 pad.
The steel version, MTH352947, is for cars with conventional steel brake discs, while the PCCB version, 99104480637, is for cars with Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes. The compounds differ for the disc material, so fitting the wrong version harms braking and damages the discs.
Yes. New racing pads must be bedded in with a series of controlled stops to transfer an even pad layer onto the discs. Skipping the bed in procedure causes poor initial bite, vibration and uneven wear, so follow Manthey bedding instructions after fitting.
They are made for track and fast road use in GT cars, where their fade resistance and response pay off. They may be noisier and dustier than standard road pads in gentle daily driving, so consider your driving mix before choosing a racing compound.
