Technician's Advisory: Factory size is M10 x 1.25 x 62 and nine screws are required per flywheel installation, including dual mass flywheel applications. Always fit a complete new set, start every screw by hand, and tighten in the correct sequence to the Porsche specification for your engine and gearbox. Never reuse flywheel screws showing thread damage, corrosion or stretching.
Important: This genuine Porsche part is listed by OE part number 99911901701. Exact compatibility depends on the model, variant, production date and equipment level. Send your complete VIN to the European Autospares parts team and we will verify this is the correct part for your vehicle.
FAQs
xFrequently Asked Questions
Yes. Part 99911901701 is a genuine Porsche pan head screw, size M10 x 1.25 x 62, listed in the factory crankshaft and flywheel diagrams. It is original Porsche hardware made to the factory specification for the flywheel joint, where correct clamp load and thread form matter for safety and reliability of the assembly.
This screw secures the flywheel to the crankshaft flange. Factory diagrams place it in the crankshaft and flywheel section for models including the 964, 968, 993, 996 Turbo and 997 Turbo, including dual mass flywheel applications. Nine screws are required for one flywheel installation, arranged in a circle around the crankshaft nose.
This listing is for one screw, and a complete flywheel installation requires nine. Order nine for a full set so every position in the joint has a fresh screw with matching clamp behaviour. Reusing old flywheel screws is not recommended, because they work under high torque and repeated heat cycles in service.
Verified diagram applications are the Porsche 964 from 1989 to 1994, the 968 from 1992 to 1995, the 993 from 1994 to 1998, the 996 Turbo from 1998 to 2005 and the 997 Turbo from 2005 to 2012. Send us your VIN and we will confirm the screw and quantity for your exact car.
This brand-new genuine part is covered against manufacturing defects, and your statutory consumer rights apply in the UAE. If the part arrives damaged or is incorrect due to our error, we will replace or refund it. We recommend VIN verification before ordering, so contact us with your VIN if you are unsure about fitment.
