FAQs
xFrequently Asked Questions
Yes. The 99907353502 is a genuine Porsche 999-series standard hardware part, a Torx screw in M8 x 21 size made to the factory specification. It replaces the earlier 99907353501, which Porsche marks as no longer to be used in the exhaust manifold application, so this is the current correct screw.
Its best-known application is as the exhaust manifold bolt on Porsche flat-six engines, including the 911 (997 and 991), Boxster and Cayman (981), and Cayman (987). Manifold applications typically use 18 screws per engine. As a standard hardware number it can appear in other joints, so verify by part number.
For the manifold applications listed, the catalogue quantity is typically 18 screws per engine, covering both manifolds. Workshops normally renew the full set when a manifold comes off, because old screws stretch and corrode. Tell our parts team your model, or share your VIN, and we will confirm the exact quantity.
Exhaust manifold fasteners endure constant heat cycling, which stretches and weakens them, and corrosion often makes removal destructive. A reused screw can snap, seize, or fail to hold clamping load, causing gasket blow-out and a ticking exhaust leak. New genuine screws are inexpensive insurance for the whole manifold job.
This listing is for one genuine Porsche Torx screw, part number 99907353502. Order the quantity your job requires, whether that is a single replacement or a full set of 18 for a manifold refit. Manifold gaskets are separate parts; our parts team can quote them for your model at the same time.
