Technician's Advisory: Never let a bare wiper arm snap back onto the windshield: without a blade fitted, the metal arm can chip or crack the glass. Lay a cloth on the glass while swapping blades, confirm each new blade clicks fully onto its connector, and test the full sweep with washer fluid before driving.
Important: This quality aftermarket wiper blade set is listed by reference number 99162890100A. Exact compatibility depends on the model, variant, production date and wiper arm fitting. Send your complete VIN to the European Autospares parts team and we will verify this is the correct set for your vehicle.
FAQs
xFrequently Asked Questions
No. This is a quality aftermarket wiper blade set made for Porsche models fitted with part number 99162890100A, and it is described as aftermarket throughout this page. It is made to fit and function as the original blades, at a lower price than the genuine part.
Compare part number 99162890100A and the arm connection type with the blades fitted to your car. Wiper fittings and blade lengths differ by model, so send us your complete VIN before ordering and our parts team will confirm this set matches your vehicle.
Replace them when they streak, judder, chatter or leave unwiped bands, or when the rubber edge looks torn or hardened. In the UAE heat and dust, blades wear faster than in cooler climates, so inspect them regularly and replace at the first sign of poor wiping.
Lift the wiper arm away from the glass, release the old blade from its connector, and clip the new blade on until it clicks into place. Lower the arm carefully back onto the windshield, then test with washer fluid and check the full sweep wipes cleanly.
Streaking with new blades usually means a dirty windshield, worn wiper arm pressure, or a blade that has not seated fully on its connector. Clean the glass, check the blade clicks home, and inspect the arm spring before assuming the blades are at fault.
